And only to be sure, I've attached a kernel with both touch drivers enabled, like the original defconfig.

Again, no luck.

Here is a logcat from the stock kernel

Okay.. next try:

http://crewrktablets.arctablet.com/?wpfb_dl=593

If this does not work, then the original Arnova sources for AN8G3 are wrong and a different touch driver is used.

Next try, changed the driver to a different one, which could match the dmesg too.

http://crewrktablets.arctablet.com/?wpfb_dl=594

Perhaps this driver is the real one..

Thanks for your efforts JochenKauz.

I'm not sure I would be really helpful here as I don't have any 8" Arnova in the G3 line and I am way less experienced than you guys when it comes to kernel modifications.

Exelletor is not around at the moment, he may be able to have a look when he is more available.

Cheers.

Bad news... okay... lets try something else.

Do you have an OTG adapter? If you have one, you could attach a USB mice to the tablet. With the mice attached, you should be able to boot my last kernel and then make a dmesg.

It's always a real pain to make a kernel, without having access to the tablet, I'm really sorry for that.
