Hey guys,

I installed the custom firmware onto my 8cg3 the other, but when it booted back up, I noticed that the screen resolution has lowered a slight bit and the GUI had become a bit bigger adn doesn't fit on screen as well as it did before the update.

Also on my settings, it's reporting that the screen res is now 600 x 752

Anyone know a way of getting it back to how it was?

Cheers :D

the resolution is reported 600 x 752 because of the buttons(there are no more phisical menu buttons), an all ics devices is the same issue.

it depends if the tablet ui suports the change
check what value you have in the build.prop for this line
ro.sf.lcd_density=120
if you change this line with another value you will see some differences on your screen (more or less apps apear, etc.)
do this only if you know what you are doing, and if you are able to restore the original value in case your launcher will stop working.
