I’m trying to enter recovery mode so that I can use the Rockchip flashing tool, I’m doing as advised but for some reason it just won’t do what it should do according to the guide.
I’m on Win 7 x64.
I’ll try another USB port once I’m home in case that’s causing an issue.
Lastly it seems like there are several custom firmwares available for this tablet, I’d just like to get onto the normal android market and use a better video player that supports FLV/MKV’s etc
I don’t use it for anything else but playing videos on the train.
Many thanks !

Well the only question I have is…
How do you get into ‘recovery mode’ ?
I tried having the device hooked up to the pc via usb (powered on), then disconnected via the win 7 software shortcut, proceeded to hold down the volume +, and reset the device with a paperclip in the hole but it just seems to reboot the device.
It’s not something I need to do right now as SOWA’s image file worked perfectly, just something I was curious about.
Arnova 7 G3
think I got into some sort of recovery mode once and regretted it as it wiped ALL my data of ALL internal storage etc… Never tried again… So beware LOL
