Hi guys,
Having had great success with my Arnova 7 G2, I bought an Arnova 8 G2. When plugged into my PC via USB it begins to charge, the 'Arnova' name appears then the screen flashes white and it repeats. No device software is being installed on my PC and the tablet isn't being recognised. I tried recovery mode and this is exactly what it says reading from the top of the tablet screen:
Android System Recovery Utility v1.3.37
Reboot System Now
Factory Reset
System Recover
Update From SD Card
Update From uDisk
Factory Test (Then, at the bottom of the screen)
Recovery System v1.3.37
E:Can't Open /cache/recovery/command
Any ideas or tips on how to solve this problem? All advice would be gratefully received.
And, I can move up and down the recovery menu above using + and - but I can't select any of them.

try to re-flash the tablet
recovery is not the same thing as flashing mode

Hi there, I managed to get my PC to recognise my Arnova 8 G2 (as a Rockusb Device) but when I try to load the Firmware via RockChip Tools, I get the error message: Firmware failed to load.
Am I missing a step somewhere?
