Hello,

I ordered the Arnova 7f G3 and it is expected to be delivered tomorrow.  I plan to install the custom firmware so that I will have access to the Play Store, but the only issue that I am having is that I have not seen anyone list a way to restore this tablet to its original firmware.  Im a noob when it comes down to things like this, but i did search the forum and I saw nothing about this topic in relation to the Arnova 7f G3.  If anyone knows how to do this, I would be very greatful if you would inform me so that if I have any problems with the tablet, I can return it.  TIA.

Edited::  I think I know what to do to restore the original Firmware, but idk where the original firmware link is located to make sure that I have a copy of it....Does anyone know??

well if you are able to restore, you should be able to dump the files from the tablet and have a backup, right ?

Hi sorry, what I meant to say was that I know how to flash the firmware if I am able to get a copy of the default firmware.  I checked online at the Arnova website, but they had no firmware listed for my tablet.  I only need the default firmware for return or warranty purposes just in case any thing happens.  I want to add the playstore, but not having a way to restore the original firmware that came on the tablet is keeping me from doing so.  Thanks for replying to my post.Smile

i've been wondering the same thing, i just got one today and i know how to flash and all but the only thing keeping me is that if i brick it by mistake or something i can't get it back to stock unless i have the factory images
