ClockworkMod (CWM) Recovery easy install for RK3066 and RK3188 -- TWRP/CWM Flash-Tool and root for RK3288
Please donate to support OMA and CrewRKTablets firmware work, thank you !
Hello guys,
It has been a while since the Arnova 7f G3 has seen a firmware update.
I have just finished building a Jelly Bean 4.1.1 test firmware based on the excellent work of OMA (JB 1.2.2a) from Crew RKtablets.
Here is the firmware file:Â kasty_oma-arn7fg3-41-050b1-2G.zip
Flash with Rockchip Batch Tool only, use Restore button.
Feedback is welcomeÂ

I haven't had much time to test it, first thing I can report is a problem with the screen density.
This is a test firmware, so it's probably too early to run it as a daily on a tablet.

By the way I'm very happy to see Jelly Bean on 7F. Do you know if project butter is working? Cause it's the main improvement in JB.Â
I will keep watching the thread

If you have root on the tablet, just download a terminal app and type
su
reboot bootloader
and the tablet will reboot in the flashing mode

First of all, i want to say that until now i don't know how to enter in flashing mode manually, i just used somebsoftware to do that.
Ok. I installed this firmware and:
1. It won't reboot. It stays at Arnova Logo. After some tryings, i unbelivable found that it boots only if you plug the DC in, and voila you have your Jelly Bean.
2. Angry Birds dont work. I dont know the reason, but i'm not a fan of it.
3. Built in explorer dont work. It's not a problem.
4. After chanching resolution to 120 dpi, the keyboard not work fine, i installed hacker keyboard and it's the best one.
5. Battery seems to discharge a litle faster, or it is not.
___
Well, this firmware in fact rocks.
The speed is unbelivable, internet speed increased, even the wifi signal is now better.
I see no another lags.
Picture in picture player works great.
Play store works much faster.
I'll keep on testing, cause' now i'm home and if the tablet reboots i have the DC cable.)
If the Boot problem will be solved it will be best firmware that is possible.
Ohhh and, my sister has an Galaxy Tab 2, and when she saw my Jelly Bean speed she was imploring me to upgrade her tablet too. )
Very nice work. I will keep this rom until I'll go to University, cause' i cant keep my charger with me. Hope since then the problem will be solved.
Cheers.
