Arctools not working on Arnova 7f g3

Please help. I've just bought a 7f g3 And want to install google play. Appslib was not installed on the new tablet, so i downloaded it, then installed Arctools 0.72.

The video on youtube uses 0.66, but I can't find 0.66 anywhere. My problem is that when I try to download & install the Arnova  7 g3 Google play & Apps install, I get an Error 28: Cannot create temporary directory, & Error 20. File copy failed.

 

I have tried un-installing Arctools, then re-installing, but i am still getting the error messages. Am I doing something wrong?Confused

Following the Arnova 7 G3 procedure will not help, it's a different device than your 7f G3, as you can see on the video.

You can use latest ArcTools from Appslib (0.72 or more recent) then follow this tutorial / video:

I have tried all that already. for some reason none of the tabs on the Arctools toolbar are working. The install apps is highlighted but when you try to access any of the tabs (firmware etc) nothing happens. Confused

Any suggestions appreciated.

Should I do a factory reset on the Arnova 7f 3g, & then reinstall Arctools to see if the toolbarworks to give me access to the firmware tab?Confused

Now sortedYell. I copied the Kasty-arn 7f3g -40-042 update image file to the root of my Arnova 7f3g and the firmware updated itself automatically. Google Play is now installed & also the tabs on Arctools now work, so if there are any further updates on firmware, I will not have any problems updating.

 

Thanks for all the support you have given me, & I hope this technique for updating may be of use for other users undergoing similar problems
