As the subject title says, I've put a activated sim inside and the light flashes green on the dongle.  But what do I need to do to get it to work?

Not sure where to go from here now, many thanks for any help or guidance.

Thanks.

Which dongle are you using ?

The Archos 3G Stick should normally work.

This video illustrates how it works on a similar setup:

If you're 3G account isn't recognized, you may need to add an APN, go to Settings / More... / Mobile networks / Access Point Names then Menu button (top right corner) and New APN. Your telco or service provider should provide you the APN parameters.

Cheers.

Thanks for your prompt reply

Its a Archos 3G dongle.

Have followed the video and put in giff gaffs apn settings, but still wont work.  I'm in a good 3G area so it cant be that.  It comes up with 'Error whilst searching for networks'.  Any more ideas?

Yours frustrated!

It's probably worth trying in another place where you have good 3G coverage.

Well I'm quite high up and on my giff gaff phone on the same network, I've got a full signal and 3G!
