I got my arnova 7c G3 yesterday and I know that the ice cream sandwich operating system is quite new but it seems like I have tons of issues getting google play to work.
Â
I downloaded it through applib and it kept closing itself so I downloaded arctools which downloads the updates but when I try to install them I get the cannot create file directory error.
Â
Is it just because it's all so new or is there something I can do to get google play set up?
The Arnova 7c G3 is not certified by Google and do not have Google Play (formerly Android Market) support.
Still, it should be made available thru unofficial custom firmwares, we'll make a post in the forum and blog when we have some news about that.
Just curious on where you bought your 7c G3 ? Do you have some pictures of the device to share with us ?
Cheers.

...So I guess I might as well just forget about ever running market on this piece of crap... I'm really considering selling this and buy a pengpod (runs full blown linux natively) , I guess as far as buying advice goes , this is definitely a NO NO!
too bad , thing has decent hardware...
