Hi there,
I have a working NANO CFW firmware on my arnova 7c g2, including a working Google Play store (no Appslib store though as this one disappeared after flashing the device).
I managed to download and install the flash player 11.1 with help of some flash player installer app from google playstore. However, the flash player does not seem to work although i enabled plugins as described in the installer app. When i open the Flash Player Settings app with firefox, i am told "a plugin is needed to display this content". When i open it with the stock browser, i just a grey screen where nothing happens. The videos i'd like to stream (e.g. series on cucirca) and which are the reason why i try to get the flashplayer running also don't work (i hope it's really the flash player i need for that?). I read somewhere that the skyfire webbrowser might enable me to watch flash content but i can't download it as "this app is incompatible with your Msm7627_fw8918."
I hope someone might be able to help me? Thanks in advance for your efforts
P.s.: I also have some other problems with my tablet but am not sure if i should create new separate threads for them or if i can just post them here in this message for a general consulting-/fixing session?
- My task killer shows me that apps constantly open themselves in the background without me using them and even if i kill them all they are back open in no time. It doesn't bother me particularly as I only see it in the task killer app but i have the impression that it slows the tablet down considerably. Is there a way to stop apps from working by themselves in the background and giving me the control when to open them? I already disabled the setting Background data ("apps can sync, send, and receive data at any time") but then the playstore (and probably a number of other apps) wouldn't work anymore.
- The video function in skype doesn't work. I can't see people when they activate their video-chat in a call and i don't have a function to activate my front-camera in skype. Is there a way to enable it?
- I can't install a number of apps (e.g. blood brothers rpg) from the google play store due to an error (498). There is enough space on the device although the internal space is limited and i didn't find out yet how to install apps directly to the SD-card rather than installing them internally and then moving them to SD card manually. Plus, a number of apps can't be moved to SD card at all, but i guess that's normal, right?

Hello, the tablet is quite limited on the aspects that you mentioned above.
Get from here a working flash player
http://www.arctablet.com/blog/forum/arnova-7c-g2-android-firmware-development/useful-stuff/
The apps in the background, when i was working on the 7c g2, i was not using so many apps, still i did not saw an issue with performance of the tablet.
The video function works very well in yahoo messenger.
You need to consider that this is a low spec device, so you should not expect to see miracles from a device that uses hardware from 2008
Try to use this app to solve the internal space problems
