we need a baseband and a way to flash`it (or the baseband is included in the boot image ? )

the baseband should solve the gsm problem

and also a wifi driver, we can try to steal one from the lg ported roms to cm7

For the start the baseband files, have the name

libwms.so

libpbmlib.so

libgstk_exp.so

so try to use the baseband from the stock rom, if not works, i will provide more basebands, from different phones.

I have a HTC Wildfire with the Cyanogen Mod 7.2.0 , the Baseband version in this mod is 13.55.55.24H_3.35.20.10

just a thought as they have Processor family,

Is it a case of unpacking and changeing some files, packing it up and trying it out?, if so what software would I need.

now i am compiling a version with lg baseband (i'm having same problems).

as soon as the building is finished i try it, if it doesn't work you can pass me you baseband files.

I`m thinking to use the specific processor baseband

So before we used a lg p500 optimus one that has a 7227 processor

The optimus v has a 7627 processor rated at 600 mhz

The Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 has a 7627 processor and also is comming with android 2.3.5 (it has a 833 clock )
