I made an tutorial for the ADB and Fastboot
The link for download is :
http://www.2shared.com/file/HUwy3ATT/ADB_FASTBOOT_TUTORIAL.html
If it is considered usefull, it can be posted around this site.
Anyone ho wants to is on their on site must contact me first.
The tutorial is based on a translation from DanielVd italian tutorial.
That's a great contribution, thank you.
Just for information, I get a missing image on page 5.
Are we allowed to make a Blog article with that content, crediting you and DanielVD ?
I'd probably complete the ADB install article with the video that is currently in the works.

All credits to DanielVd for the original tutorial, globula_neagra for the translation.
The article still require some proof reading and last modification.

Hi there,
Thanks for the great tutorial
I cannot install the ADB drivers for Arnova 7c G2. I install them manually but get an error: "Device cannot be initialized. (Code 10)"
I tried in Windows XP 32bit, Windows7 32bit and Windows7 64bit, with the same result in all the PCs
In Super One Click, I cannot see the "Advanced" tab, I only get "Universal" and "Samson Captivate".
Any ideas?
Thanks.

What is ADB and Fastboot ? HOW TO INSTALL AND USE.
Adb and fastboot are 2 applications that help to flash and give commands to different android devices, adb and fastboot are included in the ANDROID SDK
It is the first sentence from the tutorial 🙂

Android platform and it's specifics
- adb shell - what is it, for what it is
- Android SDK - what is it, tool which provides, where to download
- Tools for work with Android adb shell - Terminal Emulator, ADB shell from Android SDK and how to use i
ADB (shell)
ADB - Android Debug Bridgeis a versatile tool lets you manage the state of an emulator instance or Android-powered device. It is a client-server program that includes three components:
- A client, which runs on your development machine. You can invoke a client from a shell by issuing an adb command. Other Android tools such as the ADT plugin and DDMS also create adb clients.
- A server, which runs as a background process on your development machine. The server manages communication between the client and the adb daemon running on an emulator or device.
- A daemon, which runs as a background process on each emulator or device instance.
Generally it can be compared with standard cmd prompt in windows (you can write commands which will be executed locally, for example in Terminal Emulator) or it can be just like SSH in unix-like system (you connect to terminal through adb client (in Android SDK) and commands will be run remotely.
