So this is a clean how-to on how to unbrick your 7c g2 (the first write was quick and dirty and late-night).

Files you need: http://ifile.it/j48rkq5/ARNOVA%20msm7627_fw8918-ota-eng_0045_0817.zip

Way A (system files intact, but boot-loop):

- unpack .zip file

- disconnect tablet from all cables

- shut device down

- press power+volume (puts tablet into fastboot mode)

- fastboot flash boot <unpacked-zip>/../boot.img (adjust path!)

- fastboot reboot (wait about 10 - 20 seconds and then short-press power, it will start then)

That's it. If not, proceed with B)

Way B (system files not intact* -- I'm using Linux, so if you use windows, don't ask me for exact commands...):

- unpack zip file

- download unpack-bootimg.pl (http://files.coralic.nl/unpack-bootimg.pl)

- chmod +x unpack-bootimg.pl

- decompress boot.img with: unpack-bootimg.pl <unpacked-archive>/../boot.img (adjust path!)

- copy all files from <unpacked-archive>/../system/ to boot.img-ramdisk/

- cd boot.img-ramdisk/ && find . | cpio -o -H newc | gzip > ../newramdisk.cpio.gz && cd ..

- boot with those files: fastboot boot boot.img-kernel.gz newramdisk.cpio.gz

- only if google apps are installed: when the choose-an-app-for-action pop-up appears, quickly choose one, before the pop-up disappears and follow the instructions of the start-up-wizard (if google-apps are installed there are two wizards then, this will give faulty results when doing factory reset or similar things)

- simply follow instructions of start-up-wizard (after doing a factory reset, the start-up-wizard might be the point the system boot hangs)

- reboot tablet (it should work now)

*As there is no official full rom, this method will not work for all ways of damages. (atleast not yet)
