So, as you can read, i`m building personalized roms.
The rom will be based on stock arnova rom, with root, market and busibox instaled and other applications that you want.
So if you have a request, you should do`it like this:
XXX(here you put your name ) ROM
APPS LIST: (the fallowing are only examples)
-other free apps.
I`m gonna test the apps that you want before include them in the rom, so there is a chance that certain wont work due to certain conflict on the software side or the hardware side.
Each rom will be posted here, and will have a link for download.
The rom will be installed only by recovery mode, so you need tremendo`s recovery instaled allready. (watch the other topics to find out what you need to instal the recovery)

Damn, i tried to pass over the limition of 120 mB of the system but it can`t be done for now.
I dont know to build update.zip files so for the moment i will suspend this project till i will get more knowldge about this subject.
Just to help you.
The stock update.img scripting engine will not handle major changes to update.img. Like changing system.img to ext3. This is why ALL the custom ROMs require you to flash with update.img and RKBatch tool using "restore". Or the ROMs are broken up into the IMG's and you flash with RK Android tool.
I am actually now looking at the recovery system to see if it is at all possible to put a update.img on SD Card and get it to flash with major changes to the parameter file and formatting changes! It's not easy as in the end most of this is in the kernel. However as a TIP.... Look at older RK28 ROMS that had kernel in boot.img with a RAM disk. This is actually supported on RK29 as when I rooted the MOMO7 tablet that was it's setup. Having this will allow you to use a limited kernel and possibly get what your looking for.
Don't give up! This is doable I think.
Arnova 7cG2 is not Rockchip based.
