hello mate I bought archos 101 internet tablet second hand and i have been told that devise is brand new but never swiched on so the first charging can be long

after 3 days finally starts i dont remember what version of system was on it but i went to options and done update.

i put tablet on the table and went to fetch charger when i back realised that it got frozen ti seems like devise wanted to flip the screen but stop half way so i hold power button for 10 or bit more seconds and tablet gone off

since then green light is on when on charging if unpluged after holding power button for 10 sec. the light is off

tried to get it to boot screen by holding vol and power but just green light come up

please help if u can

I don`t have much knowledge about the Archos 101 Internet.

Based on my experience with Archos 101 XS

Pressing Power and volume key - gets you in a recovery mode.
You need to press this combination of keys for 3/4 seconds and then release and see if you see any reaction from the tablet.

STEP 1
Press the Power button, till the tablet resets, and you don`t see anymore the green led.
STEP 2
Press the Power and Volume Key - (minus, the one that lowers the volume) in the same time for 2-3-4 seconds ( i keep my Archos 101 XS in a angle to see a reaction from the screen then i release the keys)

Step 3 If the tablet works correctly is should now boot in a recovery menu, where you will be able to flash the stock firmware which you can download from Archos.
