Yes, but like I said, none of the guides have worked for my tablet - there was one that said do reset and plug in and press power and volume down button, but my tablet hasn't got a volume button (my volume is on the actual screen).  Thanks for the reply though, if you know anywhere else I can ask, would be much appreciated.

ps what is team viewer unbriking? and should I be glad LOL

No volume button, are you sure you have an Arnova 7c G2 ? If not please check in the right forum section.

I already said in my original enquiry (on page 5 or 6 of this thread) that I have an Aronova 7G2 .... and i've looked through heaps of threads on this site, but there seemed to be no answer to reset factory settings on the 7G2 that worked for me, but I was hoping that globula_neagra could help, as he seemed to give the most knowledgable advice where people had actually said "thanks mate, that worked" .... it looks like he can't help unfortunately, so hey ho :) thanks anyway - it was worth a try.

A bricked device is one that doesn't boot and can't be used as a tablet anymore, it's just like a paperweight or a brick.

Well, it wasn't clear if you had a 7G2 or 7c G2 since you persists in writing in this 7c G2 forum which is a different device, while there is a specific forum for the 7 G2

-I`m not asking money for it

Hi Globula-neagra,

I'm new to this & not very good with computers either. I have been trying for the last few days to install the adb & fastboot drivers to my arnova 7c g2 (with 4GB sd).

I think I followed the tutorial correctly, super one click appeared to work. However, when I try to check it I get wrong path or bad command messages from the cmd page on the computer.  I have tried with the sd card both in & out, & conecting the usb at different stages.

My arnova is recognised by the computer, but sometimes fails to start. I press the reset on the back, then it is ok. When I reboot the arnova I always choose the top menu option & have not wiped anything. I have not run the start up wizard.

I decided to continue with the nano upgrade & then got stuck when all the downloads (3) to the computer ask to be burnt to cd. I can't find a way to open them.

Any help/ideas would be gratefully received.

Ray

PS I have also been unable to install arc tools 5.7 & 6.3 & adobe, I tried to follow links from here.

Hi,

My 7c G2 is also stuck on the flashing Android start up screen after i installed Arctools and downloaded the market apps. Can you help ?

There are 2 ways, either you fallow the posted guides, either you check my signature.

I am not performing anymore free unbricking/flashing service, it is too time consuming.

Cheers.

if you have adb working, you can put the device in downloading mode, then use rockchip tools to flash it.

The following users say thank you to globula_neagra for this useful post:
