and the same to trenano-recovery.img and nano-sysem.img

adb and super-one-click dosn´t work so i have the firmware downloaded, but it´s also no possible to load

As the error says, the image files cannot be loaded / found. Make sure you have downloaded the different image files (boot, system and recovery) to the directory where you are running fastboot command, also make sure the file names are the same you are sending to fastboot.

Dear people,

Sorry if I'm not writting in the correct thread. Instead of starting one I'll try to solve my problems here.

After reading and trying to follow the instructions found 'on the net' the only result that I already have, is that I've totally have in an unrecoverable state on 7cG2. I think that I'va used the correct .img to flash it.

And that's the topic. Where can I found a reliable rooted .img for the 7cG2. I need to test some app in order to test drawing procedures just to avoid some memory leak situations.

I've tried to download from megaupload(oviously down),...

I was able to sync arnova 7cG2, adb was running and fastboot also. I followed Setialpha firmware instructions but I couldn't finish the procces, I got 'data too large' msg error for the image that I used.

I've purchased another 7cG2 and prior to make the same mistakes,... that's why I'd like to test with a reliable .img.

Anyone can help putting me in the rigth path?Wink

Any idea? Any help?

Thanks in advance

I think we can recover the other tablet.

First from this tablet that you have now, get it on fastboot from adb
download from here
http://downloads.nanolx.org/index.php?dir=7CG2_NanoCFW_rev14%2F
nano-system.img
nano-boot-nosd.img
trenano-recovery-nosd.img

adb reboot bootloader
fastboot devices (to check if it is fastboot)
fastboot erase boot
fastboot flash boot nano-boot-nosd.img
fastboot erase system
fastboot flash system nano-system.img
fastboot erase recovery
fastboot flash recovery trenano-recovery-nosd.img

Use drag and drop to get the exact path of the files, you can use the video for example

to get the other tablet in fastboot mode (the one that is bricked)
press the rest button from the back of the tablet
connect the tablet to the pc, wait till you see a continious light, or a flashing light on the buttons
press in the same time the power and the volume key that lowers the button, you should hear a sound from your pc if you do it corectly
check if the tablet is in fastboot with fasboot devices, it if is do this :
fastboot erase boot
fastboot flash boot nano-boot-nosd.img
fastboot erase system
fastboot flash system nano-system.img
fastboot erase recovery
fastboot flash recovery trenano-recovery-nosd.img

Hey man!

I have been on this forum for two days now as well as XDA and androidforums but, I can't seem to find the answers I need.

I have an Arnova 7c G2 which is currently stuck on the 'ARNOVA' booting screen.

I have installed Java RTE, Android SDK, I have setup up my C:\Android path in the command line for 'path', and have downloaded Superonclick and 'Recovey.img, system.img and nanoboot.img and trenano-boot.img etc and I cannot get anything to fix this tablet.

1. I cannot connect to ADB. Superoneclick does not tell me to install the drivers when I click check drivers... nothing happens.
So i cannot install the ADB Android drivers (Is there another way?)

2. I Cannot put the device in 'USB Debugging mode' as I cannot even start the tablet into android. (I bought it second hand like this).

3. When I try to flash the recovery.img file i get an error message saying, 'error cannot load recovery.img' and it says that for any file I try to flash.

4.The device doe show up in CMD when i type 'fastboot devices'. It shows Arnova then the long number etc.

I have been trying this for two days and done so much scouring of the web and trying stuff to no avail. I believe it is time for this post.

Please can somebody help me out, many thanks in advance

Liam ;)

Hello,

Since the device goes in fastboot, per your point 4. on are on the right track. The problem is probably the path of your image that need to be in the directory you run the adb commands from. See globula post #63 to properly drop the images there. Our 7c G2 flashing tutorial video may help as well.

Cheers.

PS: I have removed your double post, I don't think it was necessary.
