No, that file was other purposes, don`t copy it to the tablet

OK.

You said that you'd do a patch, any update on that?  (I know you're busy!)

FYI I am in the UK.

There's a newer version? Hmm... no auto-update here. I'll check that new version soon. Thanks.

BTW: It seems my WLAN (aka WiFi) speed is noticeable faster than with rev13 - anybody can reproduce this?

New version still does not autoconnect to wifi 🙁

I have to click "wifi settings" in preferences in order to get connected. Same with rev13.

you are the only one whit this problem, provide an adb logcat when the tablet tries to autocoonect to the wifi
try also from your wifi rooter to change the channel, and put the encryption to wpa/wpa2

For the first time it is normal to do so, but then it should auto-connect. It does always for me. Maybe there are two WiFi networks it could connect to and it doesn't know which one?

AFAIK the tablet uses the same power in the range from 480 to 600 MHz, but it responds noticeably faster now, everything else works fine. Or am I wrong? Atleast from my tests the battery did not drain.

Re; ClockworkMod recovery and GPS workaround. running Nano CFW rev13b

I do not have easy access to a PC, can I cold boot into cwm, if so how? Power and volume down appears to take me into fastboot. I'm concerned that at present I can only get into cwm from settings and if I do something stupid my recovery is on sd.

GPS; I have tried VODAFONE KEYRING RECIVER 51 CH. BLUETOOTH GPS SAT NAV RECEIVER 4 LAPTOPS MOBILES - Ebay around £10, with Bluetooth GPS Provider app, very accurate and quick refresh with google maps and CoPilot. I am not with vodafone, the receiver works without any software from them, but does use a lot of battery.

Hello guy!

I just looked at the arnova website in order to compare the 7c g3 and the 7c g2... On their site, there's not a lot of differences... Will you compare them, to port ICS on the g2?

With the 7c g3, we know that the 7c g2 will not be upgraded to ICS... Frown

Best regards.

I will have very soon the 7c g3, i will try my best to do something, the spec are different not the same.
wifi different
cpu different
more ram
different gpu (arnova 7c g2 has the 200 series, the 7c g3 has the 205 series)
each difference from above means different drivers, and since we do not have source files from arnova, the drivers can not be compiled from thin air.

Hi folks,

rev14 is now online. This is the last planned release. I still own the 7CG2, but I already got a Galaxy Tab 2, which I'm currently hacking on... I may provide bug fixes and stuff for this CFW, but don't expect anything great anymore.

Thanks for your continued and excellent work you provided on the Arnova 7c G2 Wink

Have fun with your Gtab 2 !

Edit: I've edited your first post so your download link really shows as a link.

I've also made an archive of your files, just to store a copy.

Cheers.

I know that there is no new version but for now rev14 works excellently.

Setialpha thanks for the effort invested in this all together.

Without these ROMs these tablets are not worth anything, this looks much better and much better work.
Market was my biggest problem, but I see that there's a lot of better options than the stock ROM.
