I,ve just rooted my arnova 7C g2 CoolCoolCoolCoolCoolCool

Superone click from XDA

Was a bit fiddly but you can get it to work if you tell it to force install drivers.

Looking for a recovery manager now to back up the rom etc. Got any ideas for that. CWM will not work correctly because it does not recognise the device. Same with 4ext. Both have busy box and SU permissions tho.

Same thing I got on the 10 G2 with superone click BUT it was not a full root as you still could not write files to /system. So it was not a full root.

Can you check that you can make /system R/W using Root File Explorer or something please.

Got the superoneclick. Thanks Daniel. Tried again and it says I am rooted but am not so try again. Stiil will not root 🙁

Was thinking of reinstalling the firmware however I am worried that the firmware is only for 7G2?

How do you install the usb drivers?

Thanks
