Hi there !

I can't find working Windows XP drivers for my Arnova 7B G3.

I tried the drivers packed in Rockchip_Batch_Tool_v1.4.zip and -v1.5.zip but my computer does not find valid drivers.

Does anyone know where I can find working drivers ?

Before I change anything (flashing ROM's etc.) I would like to make a full backup of the content of the flashmemory (a flash dump). I read that rkflashtool for Linux could do this, but I can't find a compiled version of this program. I do not know enough about Linux to compile it myself. Can anyone help me to make a flash dump ?

Thanks for the tip, but some people who flashed other Arnova tablets with the "official" image discovered that it was different from their original image. So before flashing anything I would like to have a backup of the current flash.

Thanks ! Smile

I hadn't seen this post. I tried myself to make a Windows driver from the given rockchiptools drivers, but the devide wouldn't start.

The procedure for making a driver for Windows as described in the link is different from my approach.

But the vendor ID they use (0e79) is the same as my 7B G3 so it is very promising. I will surely try this !

Also the procedure under Linux seems simple. I have a different distro, but I'm certainly going to see if it works. Thanks again !
