There is a a custom firmware based on Arnova’s latest firmware release from the 12th of July.
Is it better than a dump based firmware?
Should i roll back to stock firmware and then reflash newest one or reflash over dump based.

I haven't checked the build dates of latest firmware based on the official firmware from Arnova but it may be more recent than the dump. Our custom firmware being based on latest Arnova, you don't need to flash Arnova's firmware before, just flash ours on top of your existing firmware.

Hi guys, am new to this so here goes. Do I first need to install the SuperSU file to my device? I followed all the steps in the description but when the device tries to install the firmware it says

UPDATE RIKIMAGE

Find and check firmware...

E: Can't read (mnt/sdcard/update.img)

(File exists)

Can not found firmware image or invalid image.

Installation aborted.

Any help pls, Paul

Sorted it now. I just downloaded the firmware update img to my laptop. Extracted the file with winrar to show the img file. Then plugged the tablet in to laptop, open device folder to see files (ext hard drive) and just dragged the file across. When i unplugged the tablet from laptop it found the firmware and asked if I wanted to install. Clicked install and the files where downloaded. Happy days.

Hello can i do this without sdcard cause its not installing and when am installing googleplay apps its saying file cant be moved do i need an ssdcard???
