I have an Arnova 7bG2 Dual Touch (Model: AN7BG2DT). I would like to connect it to the ethernet through its USB. I bought such a device which I saw on Amazon it works for the 10 model. But it does nothing on my model (the kernel seems to disregard it). It is based on ASIX AX88772 chipset which the linux kernel fully supports (it works on every linux machine I tried except this tablet).
Is there something I can do to make it work?
If I recall right there is no USB Ethernet support on any Arnova G2 tablet, they all miss the kernel support for those devices as far as I know
There may be some chances of finding the right module for your ASIX AX88772 and loading it...
