Just to let you know that I've managed to install Google Play on my Arnova 7 G3. I came across some problems, but managed to resolve them. I have done a video about how to do it on my YouTube channel. Hope you find it helpful and leave any comments to let me know how it goes for you )
I would love to be able to do this but the fact that there seems to be a risk that you might lose everything in the process - especially when you are not exactly computer savvy and am trying out the tablet on a 2 week trial....is there no easier way? and I presume that unless you have the google play store installed you cannot install BBC i-player either. I am always up for learning new stuff on computers etc. as I am not of the computer generation (unless you count Amstrad..) but I think this is a lesson too far. Would it be better for me to get a refund and a slightly better android tablet, a second hand Ipad or even something like a Samsung Galaxy/Nexus - sorry I'm sure this is a bit vague but this is a steep learning curve and I need to make a decision soon! Thought signing up to this website might help, not sure if it's making me more confused yet!
Thanks anyway - hope to hear sometimes (have seen other similar questions from tablet novices on here don't seem to be answered, which is a shame).
