As most will have see in the setting menu, You can't choose the correct timezone....And this is a little annoying and odd as well..

So I looked around and found a fix and I had it installed already...

Clocksync!!!!

Install it if you haven't already goto settings, move down to TimeZone choose offline database, this may require a download which is free and may also require a reboot too.. Now simple choose your time zone.... Do a reboot to be sure it's worked.. Now go to the ICS settings and the date/time and hey presto its now the correct zone as chossen by you..

hope that helps you all...

regards

I talked to support. They said a firmware fix will be forth coming. When? Don't know.

In the meantime, TimeZone Changer does the trick. The latest version of Clocksync does not do the job at all....

Clocksnyc worked fine on my AN7G3, it did have me install another part before it would work but then worked fine. Also ok on rebooting.

Current devices.....Nabi 2, Nexus 7 32G, Galaxy Tab 10.1, Galaxy Tab 7+, Galaxy S2 Skyrocket AT&T 4G, Galaxy 8.9 AT&T 4G

Just FYI, I had to do a restore, so thought I would try Timezone Changer that childoftheworld told us about. It worked great and was much easier to use. I recommend using it over clocksync. Easier and doesn't need anyother download. Thanks childoftheworld.

Nice fine and yes it may be simpler but I still prefer Clocksync as is will do as the apps title says and sync the tabs(or phones) clock with and online server thus always keeping the correct time on the device and you can do this automatically at turn on/wifi connection or indeed manually too. so for addition of an extra addon it is very useful to solve timesync and timezones too.

Ok well thanks and will keep that on mind, I too consider time snyc important. So far with timezone changer for 2 days my tablet has had the same time as my other wifi tablet and my At&t cellphone. I do like the fact that I was able to choose Eastern Daylight Time as my time zone. Will let you know if anything changes. I will watch it closer.
