Any one can tell me how to root my arnova 7 g3, please 🙂Its rooted out of the box.
Sorry but the arctools 0.67 can't instal the market and gapps
Arctools doesn't support the 7G3 yet, the tablet is rooted
Look in Arnova 7G3, Google and Market setup. You will find how to setup Google Play without ArcTools. Works really well and even stays if you have to restore/factory

I am having the same problem as the original poster. Is there anything I can do to fix it?
Here is a screen print of my Internal Storage screen. Top partition shows Zero Total Space, bottom shows 2.0GB. How can I get the top portion back? I cannot install any apps due to insufficient space.
I am also getting "tutorial screens" when it boots up about how to put my favorite apps on the home screen. Am I stuck in some demo loop?
I'm not really sure but i think there are some files you have to delete and then you will have it working fine...Â
In my case I just flash it with the Hyundai A7 firmware, and now it's working fine except for the rotation... but maybe soon there will be a custom Arnova 7G3 firmware...Â

How do you the rom dump of the 7G3?
Many thanks !
looking forward to the new firmware ... no pressure !
would it be a good idea to look at the Hyundai http://www.flashmyandroid.com/forum/showthread.php?415-ROM-Hyundai-A7-Firmware-ICS-4-0-3-20120405-Elvish-0-3 and try to hack that to make the G sensor work, as its apparently quite stable ! ?
Â
Cheers for all your hard work

I will attempt to dump my 7 G3 firmware tonight without performing a factory reset.
Â
My G3 is rooted, has superuser, Market, Talk, CPUMaster.
Â
I will clear my Google account, un-set CPUMaster, but leave Superuser and Market to save some headaches.
Â
Mind you, I would like to be able to test this before uploading a file that creates bricks (I'll RMA mine if it borks, but I don't want to break everyone else's).
Â
I see steps on how to dump. How do you flash on these units?
I haven't got any experience with those Boxchip devices, but it looks like dumping is the easy bit.Â
Then we need to rebuild (or cook) a single firmware image using an A10 kitchen or other tools, so this image flashed with Livesuite (specific tool to flash Boxchip Allwinner A10 devices). There are some links for that in my post #7  but I haven't had time yet to play with it... too busy to fix some Arnova 10bG3 crapÂ
Thanks for your initiative, I'll try to give some help when I can.
Cheers.

I ended up flashing it with the Hyundai A7 firmware and it is working just fine now. However I am eagerly awaiting the custom Arnova 7G3 firmware to help with G sensor and screen orientation issues. I downloaded an app that allows me to change the screen orientation manually and that is fine for now. Thanks to all for posting the links and instructions for installing the Hyundai A7 firmware.

Hi, I have the same problem, it's like if I haven't any memory. I can't install anything and everytime I switch on the tablet it starts as it was the first time.
Â
Does anyone know what I have to do? Are there any files I should delete?
Â
I would prefer keep my room but if anything works I'll try to fix it with Hyundai firmware.
Â
Thanks in advance.

I also had a similar issue. Can't install any apps from market. Manual installed apps via APK gets deleted upon reboot. Can someone please help by posting their files under /system/app directory?. I have un-installed the applib...
Not sure what apks your having trouble with but if its Google play, then download the zip posted in An 7 G3 Google play setup by lohtse, post number 4. I installed the ones that would install and then copied all files in the zip to /system/app/ folder and then rebooted. All worked great and when I did a factory restore/reset the apks were still installed and in my apks menu. Before you do this, I think that I would go into tablet setting menu and in Privacy do a Factory Restore /reset and start fresh.

Already tried the reset and no difference. I think I found the issue. Can someone please send the content of /proc/mounts file?. This can be done by using root explorer.

I'm not at home with the device right now, if no one sends it to you, I will check back and do it as soon as I get back. Will be about 2 hours for me. Sorry.
