sorry your tablet 7G3 is not working correctly... Have you tried going in to settings and doing a factory reset? Have you still got root access? If you have root access try deleting the data/data and dalvik folders as I has a similar issue on my not dead arnova 8G2 and thankfully it solved it....
Â
other than that may be give the mentioned rom a try and hope an official 7G3 rom appears soon....

It won't be an official firmware, but I should have a 7 G3 firmware dump ready in the coming days.
Cheers.

i lost the root access, so there weren't too much to do
I just couldn't wait jeje so last night i installed the firmware of the hyundai A7... it works nice, but only the rotation of the screen doesn't work... Â
Â
Now the bootlogo is different, obviously, but some configurations like languaje, wifi's networks and some other things are just like them were before the issues... (sorry i hope you could understand what i tried to say)

Is too hard to modify firmwares? What do you need to do that?Â
Â

I hope you're not too much in hurry, as it should take me quite a few days before I work on that.
Modifying Rockchip firmwares (used on other Arnova tablets) is now quite well documented, is not too hard to do , it's easier when you have some Unix scripting knowledge.
As for Boxchip Allwinner stuff (specific to the Arnova 7 G3), I don't know as I haven't started yet, there are quite a few web resources on the subject, so I'm not worried.

Do you have any links on how to do a firmware dump? Thanks for all your work on these tablets.

I am having the same problem as the original poster. Is there anything I can do to fix it?
Here is a screen print of my Internal Storage screen. Top partition shows Zero Total Space, bottom shows 2.0GB. How can I get the top portion back? I cannot install any apps due to insufficient space.

You can have a look at this page:
I haven't tried it yet though.
The batch file uses the fact the tablet is rooted to dump the nand partitions on the sdcard. The path where the dump files are stored may need to be adjusted on the 7 G3.

I am also getting "tutorial screens" when it boots up about how to put my favorite apps on the home screen. Am I stuck in some demo loop?
