everytime I have set above 1.1ghz it becomes unstable... either reboots it's self or get a grey or even blue screen and only way to fix is a reboot... tried on both our tablets(7G3) and always same results..... Having said that it does't happen straight away and can be anything from 5 mins to 2 hours before it happens..
Slightly, while in-use. The battery was "designed" for the unit running at 1000mhz. I don't think there's a direct 1:1 correlation for increased power consumption, but I'd say when I bump mine up to 1200mhz it lasts about 20% less
However, my standby power consumption dropped dramatically. I can leave it on, asleep, for about 3 days and come back to 40% battery.
Use AnTuTu CPU Master, fantasy governor, 30mhz minimum, 1200mhz max (or the next setting below to be safe), set on boot, and make sure to enable to "bypass if quick reboot" option under settings. This way if you mess with an overclock setting and it reboots your tablet, you can choose "Skip It" on the reboot to not get stuck in an error-bootloop.
I've got no complaints. Only Flash webpages have been able to crash my tablet since putting in these settings.
Thank u sir. But before ur post, I already installed setcpu and set cpu at 1152 mhz and 30 mhz. It looks like workig fine so far. Browser is not crashing. But still want to ask that is there any posibility that the tablet wifi maynot work properly? I am not sure if I am getting wifi signal I used to get beforr it! Pleasy reply. Thxxxxxxx
