The only stable(ish) OC settings was below 1.1ghz, Anything above that resulted in a grey screen or the 7G3 rebooting it's self. We tried ondemand, interactive heck pretty much all the govs and none produced any better results…
On down clocking to 1.1ghz and below(inc default) the 7G3 became less responsive then before overclocking and there was or at leasted seemed a slight lag too. We found menus took a second before appearing and as for games and menu/launcher transitions well they stuttered a little and constantly..
Basically we found that the 7G3 doesn't like too play nice after overclocking so uninstalled setcpu and reverted back to default and all's well again..
My advise at this time. Just don't bother till a custom rom that better supports OCing comes along..
Or if you have some ideas as to how to achieve a useable and stable overclocking of the 7G3 then post it here for all to try!
set governor to fantasy
and all seems well for the moment.......
The best settings for overclocking the Arnova 7 G3 are below..
Use SetCPU of market and set as follows:-
Set governor to fantasy
and speed to 1104mhz...
So far I have a slightly speedier and snappier 7G3 and without hickups etc...No stuttering or lag....
If you find a better setup then let us all know..

AnTutu CPU Master (free), min 30mhz max 1246mhz (or is it 1248?), interactive or fantasy governor
stable like a boss.
also, Swapper 2 (puzzle-piece icon) running on micro-SD improved my Netflix streaming performance
but on the whole, it has very sub-stellar wifi reception.... maybe an official firmware update could help (just don't un-root us dammit Archos! that was really convenient!)
tried AnTutu CPU Master but after a while I had same issues as mentioned before when set over 1108mhz..
As superuser is working correctly for all other apps it would suggest it is the Kernel not the application... As to swapper2 main issue with swapper I have always found is that if the tablet reboots randomly the swappers partion becomes corrupt and the you spend eons trying to sort it out as the tablet or phone takes a century to become usable..
Anyway I have had no issue with netflix without it
I didn't see ninjaduck's charger comment till after but charged 7G3 using the charger for my Galaxy SII Skyrocket. Used it both with 7G3 on while using it and turned off over night. No flickering screen and no problems. I wouldn't have used it if I had read ninjaduck's comment. Since I have, thought I would pass the info along.
Thanks for all the valueable info here on the 7G3!!!!!
Current devices.....Nabi 2, Nexus 7 32G, Galaxy Tab 10.1, Galaxy Tab 7+, Galaxy S2 Skyrocket AT&T 4G, Galaxy 8.9 AT&T 4G
Both devices (Arnova and Hyundai) are supposed to run on the same hardware, maybe there are some clock difference in their firmwares.
Tests done in the forum show the Arnova is reasonnably stable up to 1.2 GHz.
