I need help in getting my Logitech USB GamepadF310 to work on Arnova7g3. Is it a driver issue? I've tried a few free apps, none seem to do anything, are there any apps that will wrk? I have OTG usb adaptor cables that work well with usb hub with usb flashdrives/keyboard/mouse. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Okay, from what I can figure, BT Joystick seems to be a touchpad keyboard/joystick emulator.

I found in Playstore 'GamePad' by 'Fishstix' (no permissions, yay!). After install, t's not an actual running 'app', per se, but an input 'keyboard', (like "Swype" etc.) and needs to be turned on in "settings/language and input/keyboard and input methods" (using ICS) by ticking the checkbox. This seems to actually work (what a pita just to get a usb joystick to work)

I'll be testing it out further, thanks again for 'pushing' me in this direction, Mat. Have a good one...

Rats. I found the app by searching 'logitech gamepad' in play. Theres one called sixstick for sony pads. I'm sure it'll happen sometime. These apps all seem to be written in java. Maybe something not yet on play - check the xda developers site.

Offtopic, fyi, I just stumbled across "DroidWall" in playstore's tools section. It's a small, no permissions firewall app for rooted android devices that gives you control over what apps/games have internet access. Works great, should be s.o.p. for android.
