Now I know how to fix the Arnova I might look into creating an Hybrid rom using the instructions from here and XDA. At the moment I have more system space than before and my 32gb is being used as sdcard :-)

Great, glad you got it.

This mod is working. However, after copying all files and folders and rebooting, chrome and opera quit working.

I wonder if changing both the device and mount points would work better. managed to reinstall opera, but chrome is being stubborn.

Can't really say what's up with chrome, I never had it on that device. I had Opera and Opera mini, had no problem with Opera but didn't like the mini. Maybe someone else can help. I don't have the An 7 G3 anymore.

Hi guys I want to turn 32gb card into a internal sd so I've done what was said on the first post but I want to make sure I've done it correct so here the text that I've modified

## Vold 2.0 fstab for HTC Passion
#
## - San Mehat (san@android.com)
##
#######################
## Regular device mount
##
## Format: dev_mount <label> <mount_point> <part> <sysfs_path1...>
## label - Label for the volume
## mount_point - Where the volume will be mounted
## part - Partition # (1 based), or 'auto' for first usable partition.
## <sysfs_path> - List of sysfs paths to source devices
######################

# Mounts the first usable partition of the specified device
#/devices/platform/awsmc.3/mmc_host for sdio
dev_mount sdcard /mnt/extsd auto /devices/virtual/block/nandi dev_mount
dev_mount extsd /mnt/sdcard auto /devices/platform/sunxi-mmc.1/mmc_host
dev_mount usbhost1 /mnt/usbhost1 auto /devices/platform/sw-ehci.1 /devices/platform/sw_hcd_host0 /devices/platform/sw-ehci.2

If someone can check I've done that correct that would be awesome

I also know how to get most 3g dongles to work with the arnova 7g3 I'll be happy to post a tut later if one has not already been posted

it should ok, in theory you need only to swap the sdcard word with the extsd and vice versa, nothing else

Im not sure if that will work. when i first tried it,i screwed up on a space and wouldnt boot. i was able to replace vold.fstab with android commander while stuck at boot logo. admin has posted orginial vold on first page and i posted mod vold on page 2. all you need to do is dowwnload those 2 and swap out the vold or rename it to vold.fstab.bak and put mod vold in the folder. copy all folders from sdcard to micro sdcard and then reboot. DONE.  you can see that it changed in settings>storage after reboot.

enable usb debugging, and install the adb drivers before you start testing.

driver are for the pc. but you can just download the 2vold files straight to the tablet and do it all without the pc.

Make sure that you save a copy of both vold.fstab files, all you have to do is copy and replace with orginial if you need to go back. Also if you change to a 32g micro sdcard, just copy all the folders from the 16 to your new sdcard, before you boot it up.
