ClockworkMod (CWM) Recovery easy install for RK3066 and RK3188 -- TWRP/CWM Flash-Tool and root for RK3288
Please donate to support OMA and CrewRKTablets firmware work, thank you !
The Arnova 7 G3 comes rooted (see our review) so you don't have anything to do to get root on itÂ

It's one that is almost guaranteed to work, provided you are prepared to spend a little time getting LiveSuit and adb to work on your device. Â I could think of other options, but they would be more of a trial and error process.
Cheers.

The only reason I ask is its my Dads tablet and I would prefer not to have to completely flash ROMs etc which has a chance of bricking, when all I need is root reallyÂ
If there is another option that is not too difficult to explain I am all ears
UPDATE: Flashed Elvish and ROM Dump and tablet is still working :p
Still getting very frequent rebooting with no obvious cause, I think this is an ICS problem not specific to one particular device
I've installed SetCPU and set minimum frequency to 350MHz or something near, see how that works out for him
Thanks for the guides, it wasn't too painful of a process
Congrats, glad you made it !Â
