Okay first off, I just got this tablet.. I brought it off of an online yardsale, so I'm not sure if it's under warranty or anything. But, whenever it's on, or charging, there is a red light. I have no idea what that means... I know I definitely need a new battery. The tablet dies entirely to fast, but I'm having trouble locating a store or website that sells replacement batteries for this brand/model. Can anyone direct me into the right direction? I'd really appreciate it!!!

Thanks,

Cupcake

Hello,

After a full charge, how long does the tablet last before the battery dies ?

Even if it's still on warranty, I doubt ARCHOS/Arnova manufacturer would replace a failing battery... and they actually rarely offer a product repair service, they seem to usually just replace failing products.

Things like battery repair can sometimes be done on your own, but that means opening the tablet, finding the battery reference, buying that battery or an equivalent (likely in China) and making the replacement on your own.

I am not sure if it's worth the trouble, you may just keep the tablet connected with a wall charger all the time...

Cheers.

At first, it would die within an hour. Now, if I don't use it and it's in standby mode, 2 days. If I'm using it I'd say 2-3 hours. I left it charging overnight and the battery works a bit better. Thanks so much for replying!!! I'm going to give this one to my son and I'm buying myself a new one :)
