I have a ton of games on this thing and playing them with the screen is getting annoying.  Anybody ever figure out how to get a controller to work?  I have a ps3 controller or a regular usb but the problem is the stupid usb port.  It just doesn't recognize anything.  Anyone have a clue?

Check the logitech post for programs that might work. I haven't tried this yet. Maybe gobruce would respond to a pm.

The logitech usb joystick I got works great on a regular computer, not this tablet. If you can try using an ms xbox controller, those seem to be work, I've 'read', I don't have experience myself. Haven't been able to find an app that works...yet. I'll post again if something new happens...

This app from Google Playstore has potential, Gamepad IME . I'll be testing it over the next few days... https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.killig.gamepadime&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDEsImRlLmtpbGxpZy5nYW1lcGFkaW1lIl0.

Ok, I just plugged in an old logitech dual action controller with an adapter. The d-pad cycles thru the homescreens and the buttons enter or escape. So this is native usb kernel support. No app needed. Try some old joysticks that predate the an7g3 os.

As to games, if they allow joysticks it should work. You may need to map the controls in an emulator. I'll put dosbox turbo on next and see.

The adapter I use came with a keyboard. A bluetooth dongle would be even better.

For ps types try the sixaxis app. Maybe there's a free trial version or compatibility checker. I think some of these apps will map touch screen areas to the controller buttons for games without joystick support.
