I tried different way to make it works.
I used Fusa Gamepad, it is a driver for psp that converts it in a joypad working on Windows, Linux and PS3.
Of this fusa driver there are 3 versions. v0.1 is a beta version with 2 axis and 8 buttons. v0.2 and v0.3 are 4 axis and 12 buttons.
On the tablet I used different versions of USB joystick center (6.41, different release of 7 and 8).
The only working combination was Fusa v0.1 and USB joystick center 6.41.. but that Fusa beta is very slow (on the pc too) so it's not good to play.
Fusa v0.2 and v0.3 has the same reaction with all the USB JC versions I tried, it gives flashing bits on the command line.
Trying the same Fusa driver (v0.2) on the same version of USB JC in my friend's tablet (Mediacom smartpad 705i), it worked immediately.
So there's the difference: PSP on Arnova 7g2 works on a command line of 4 bytes, in the Mediacom Smartpad it uses 8 bytes.
The dpad and analog pad has some bits fixed as "position bit", that take almost 2 byte for each directional control (4 in total.. on 8 on the smartpad).. But the arnova uses just 4 bytes, so I think it overwrite always the line of the 2 directional control.
As rom I used the 2 releases of Fenice 4.0.3 ics and 4.1.1 Jelly bean.. but the result was the same.
I thought it could be a Kernel problem but I saw that mediacom smartpad uses 3.0.8+, same as the roms I used on the arnova.
On my arnova I tested ps3 joypads (one original and one not original) and worked both good..
So if the psp worked on another tablet and on my tablet works ps3 pad.. I think the problem is between my tab and my psp.
I'd really like to solve this problem.
