Hi guys

I have strange problem with Aronova 7 G2.

Suddenly I got message "Firmware updating"

And I have Install and Cancel buttons, but touchscreen is frozen. This happens even after reboot, I see Calibration message and that this black screen appears and ... nothing. Can someone help me with this?

Try putting a paperclip in the reset pinhole button, if that does not help, you're probably good to flash a firmware.

Use Rockchip flashing tool with the current custom firmware if you used one or with the stock firmware from the vendor:

buh.... I can't get this device to recovery mode.

I turn device ON,

An than I "put the Power switch to the right position (when a little lock is drown)"
  After that
insert a paperclip in the Reset pinhole on the back of the tablet.

But, device just turns off

Well, the screen should get black (turned off) but the device is still on. If you run Rockchip Batch tool, install the drivers and see the green square you should be good to flash. If it doesn't work, please check the troubleshooting section on the flashing page.

This is OK, thanks a lot.

I wonder now, was it better that I installed different firmware? My son use this tablet just for games. Any suggestion about that?

A custom firmware will give you Google Play / Android Market support and sometimes extra features or small system speed improvements. A good one is Fenice57 firmware that you can find here: http://www.arctablet.com/blog/featured/arnova-7-g2-firmware-root-market-3g-ntfs-bluetooth-cifs/

If you/your son are happy with the default firmware from the manufacturer you can probably stick to it 😉

I am confused, because I don't have applib, and don't know how to install software. Any trick?

///edit

appslib downloaded.

Thanks a lot, saved my tablet 🙂
