Personally, I think when you release the update you should have a multiple choice for app size. I actually prefer the default amount as I don't use alot of apps but use the internal storage for Videos etc.
Maybe have versions with
225MB of app space
450MB of app ace
and etc
Or better still give us tutorial on how to change the app space ourselves? Is it something to do with lk.rom?

Nice work fenice57 and finless thank you both.

James-the SD card notification is just the system mounting the SD card after start up or reboot and was present on the stock firmware as well. This happens on my DroidX as well(though the message only pops up and then disappears). The Arnova firmware must handle the SD card a little differently than the phone firmware though as it appears that moving apps to the SD causes then to spontaneously disappear after a reboot. I believe some other users on this site have been seeing their apps disappear and have tried to take steps to stop this. If you are on the rooted firmware and have seen apps disappear that you moved to the SD card just try reinstalling the Market 3.4.4 in Arctools. That worked for me after I set Apps2sd to place apps in the internal nand storage. Interestingly enough the videos I had on the SD card were fine so I think that the Arnova firmware only looks to the SD for media files.
Â
Hope this helps and that I explained everything correctly(I am not a developer just a user).Â

Yes,
I' ve this tablet since 30 days and I'm working for delete all bug, in few days I'll releas a new version, I hope in SDK 2.1
The original firmware has much more bug, and I've take this decision, ... Do it again !!!!
Good rom, works fine and I have no complaints with it.

I've got a request through,
1 thing I've notest with the battery life is that it goes down quickly when the deivce is sleeping, So I did what I always do and I checked setcpu and I think I've found the problem.
Â
The cpu is permanently clocked at 1GHz and performance governor. Maybe in a feature update there could be a different kernel to have a lower rest frequency and different governor which would save power because the battery life is getting annoying.Â
Â
Let me know what you guys think of my idea. 🙂

3G
Complete support with USB OTG for Hauwei 3G key models E1550 E1692 E1750 E1820
NTFS Support
I made the necessary changes in order to see external drives formatted with NTFS file system.
Mount NTFS disk - what to do:
Automatically at boot time the system will create a folder called win inside the mount point /mnt
Run GScript and add a new script, call it – mount-ntfs -
Enter the following command: /system/bin/ntfs-3g /dev/block/sda1 /mnt/win
Save
Connect via usb otg the disk, start the script and entire contents of the disk will appear in /mnt/win
I did a test with a 1TB drive with my mkv and I was able to see to 1080p without any problems.
To umount the disk, create a new script, call it umount-ntfs and enter the following command:
/system/xbin/umount /mnt/win
Save
WARNING:
During umount, all applications that are taking up the mount point /mnt/win SHOULD BE CLOSED.
If you do not, the script does not umount the disk and if the disconnected abruptly, you may lose data.
Bluetooth
Entered all necessary kernel modules to support external USB Bluetooth to connect to the USB OTG cable.
Obviously the Android drivers are a bit limited, look on the various forums to see what sticks are compatible.
Of course, Bluetooth file transfer has been included to turn off and turn on and manage the Bluetooth
CIFS support
Added kernel modules in order to see share external network via the CIFS protocol
Full support for OpenVPN
Added kernel module tun.ko to use encrypted connections with OpenVPN server.
Further changes:
Inside /system/xbin directory has been added to the latest version of busybox
The openvpn binary was always placed within this directory.
All kernel modules are loaded at boot time
Â
Bugs
Bluetooth Bug
When the Bluetooth is on and the display goes to time out, the internal POWER signal is sent to tablet
Â
Sorry NO update, you must flash all again

Downloading the latest now and can't wait to try it later today. Alextech makes a very good point about the cpu governor. I noticed this right away after installing rom toolbox and quickclock apps. A maxed cpu cannot be good for battery life. After doing some research on governors over on xda or rootzwiki(can't remember which) I think that either smartass v2 or interactivex would be good governors to try and apply to this firmware. They both sound like they scale the cpu down when the screen is off and have other tweaks that allow performance and good battery life. It might be worth checking into which kernel the cyanogenmod firmware that someone has ported to the 8 G2 is running as that probably has a few options.
Â
Also, a custom recovery(touch based as we lack physical buttons) such as the new cwm or twrp 2(which was just open sourced) would make backing up and flashing new firmware much simpler. After that having more options in the power menu(reboot, recovery) in addition to the stock power off and suspend would be great.
Â
Hope I don't sound too demanding. Just making observations based on what I have seen for my phone.

If you want, custom recory is almost ready ( Ready in next relese ).
Tell me if you thought about something like that.
In zip archive there is only recovery system
After 10 sec you can choose (touch)
Reboot System -> Works
Reset from factory -> Works
System Recovery ( only System.img ) -> Dont work
Update for SD ( update.img ) -> works
