Hi,

I was one of the happy few who saw that a day after I bought my Arnova 10b G3 you guys had a custom firmware ready for my tablet (bought in Belgium).

Now, after some testing, I will be returning it (main gripe is the fact that Plex (my media center of choice) does not seem to work. Sound quality also sucks, at least on my unit).

So

Alright, I've rebuilt a stock firmware from J_Weidner backup dump (see earlier posts in this topic).

I'm making it available hoping that those with a bricked Arnova 10b G3 tablet (calibration not working anymore) can get their device back to life. It's a stock firmware, I'll add Google Play on it later if it works fine.

If your tablet isn't bricked, please don't flash this firmware !

Flash with Rockchip flash tool  and use Restore button rather than Upgrade button.

Cheers.

Could I just restore the above firmware to get it back to stock before returning it? Even if it says I shouldn't if it's not bricked...

Cheers,
Jeroen

Restoring the stock firmware can be done at any time, preferably use Rockchip flasher using the Restore button.

After restoring, just make sure there's no Google Play and SuperSU icons listed in the tablet's apps.

Cheers.

It's not just you, the built in sound quality is awful, thank goodness for my Sennheiser Headphones.
