As you are aware if you have read my other posts that I purchased a UK 10BG3 in June, I was one of the first people to update the firmware with no problems.
I currently have 41a firmware loaded and this has been working fine on the device, that is, untill today. I was on the internet browsing etc when the screen froze, nothing would work so I powered down the machine, it restarted, then got stuck in the screen cailbration stage. I pressed reset, and when rebooted, it still was stuck on screen calibration.
I reflashed 41a firmware, that went ok, it did the screen calibration and the ok message came up, but the touch screen was dead, it would accept no input, so started to calibrate again.
So, I reflashed the original firmware, this went ok and went passed the screen calibration stage as normal, touch had been restored, so I reflashed 41a version again to get Market etc and it worked, back on it now with no problems.
Very strange, but at least it is back now. I will of course keep my eye on it and report if it happens again.
Just thought I would share this.
