Whenever I plug in my micro usb keyboard to my tablet, it never seems to work! I tried it with my desktop and it worked flawlessly, and it came up with something at the bottom right hand corner of the monitor saying, Usb human interface device. I'm stumped whenever I plug it to my tablet. Please help me and reply

I managed to fix this problem by connecting my keyboard to a micro USB to USB otg cable, providing the keyboard a power supply because it turns itself into a USB host. So that is your solution to these problems :-)  If that doesn't work, your tab may need repairing.

I have the 7g3 model, and use (like TheSonic above describes) an OTG cable and the USB keyboard/mouse are recognized with no issues. They get plugged into a powered USB Hub so the tablet battery doesn't get drained. This setup also lets me conveniently plug in a flashdrive.

I bought the 7port 3 amp hub and cables from amazon, $20 for hub (from the 'Plugable' company http://www.plugable.com ), $2 for each OnTheGo cable.

Make sure the 'USB Debugging' mode in settings is turned 'off'.
