I put "kasty_oma-arn10bg3-41-046-2G" on the root of my SD card. Tablet said it found update and would I like to install it, so I did. Tablet reboots and starts installing. After installation it rebooted and the ARNOVA screen comes on flashes and and hangs. I can get to the dead android screen and that's it. When I plug it into USB on my computer it searches for a driver then says "device driver software was not successfully installed" so I cannot access anything through my CPU. I've tried plugging in the power cord after 25 seconds to no avail. PLEASE ASSIST!!
Update: I used "Rockchip_Batch_Tool" and now have successfully installed Jellybean 4.1.1. However when trying to install the fix posted by "mcsgeek" to overwrite /system/framework/services.jar using File Expert it is saying "overwrite failed" when copying and pasting the file? Any ideas?
well, you need to remount the file system as rw to be able to copy something there
there is an option in file expert that does that you first need to enable(in the donate version), then you should be able to mount system rw
there is no tutorial is common sense
you can also use adb to push the file, same thing you need to
adb remount first

Update: I got it figured out using newest version of "File Expert" working great without power cord on reset. Thanks for the help! Tablet is way better now!
