Hi
have the 10b g3 but it's stuck on the Arnova screen.
Every possible rest tip tried, can get as far as the lying android pic with exclamation mark, but can't flas as PC doesn't recognize (guess item is in non debugging mode, which i cant change as i cant access the tablet).
Any solutions for this? Opening the thing maybe somehow? Wits end....
Thanks for your help

Hello, i moved your topic in the aproppriate section (you posted in the 9g3)
Have a look here http://www.arctablet.com/blog/featured/flashing-arnova-g2-rockchip-2918-rockchip-flashing-tool/ where you will find how to get the tablet in the flashing mode, which drivers to install and so on.

Did you do this ?
push the Volume + button on your tablet and keep the button pressed while you insert a paperclip in the RESET pinhole. Keep the paperclip pushing the reset and the Volume + button pressed for about 15 seconds. The tablet screen should turn black.
ps: do not charge the tablet when you do this

You need to not have the tablet connected to the usb/power source when you reset and try to get in the flashing mode

You could try to get the tablet in recovery mode (you should see on the screen a dead android with an exclamation mark) and from there to install android sdk, the adb drivers, issuing in adb the command "adb reboot bootloader" to get the tablet in the flashing mode

in general terms
-install java sdk and android sdk
-use superoneclick to install the adb driver
-issue adb reboot bootloader in cmd to get the tablet in the flashing mode
I'd add this tutorial from globula and haroldg :
http://www.arctablet.com/blog/devices/arnova/adb-and-fastboot-tutorial/
There's no fastboot support on the Arnova 10b G3 so the tutorial stops after adb devices successfully returns the list of devices.
Cheers.
