I tried 'links2sd' app and it seems to work on 2gig microsd card I tested it on, you must first make sure you have 2 primary partitions on the sd card, I made one FAT (as using a 2gig card) and the second EXT2, then restart the Arnova with the sd card in and EXT2 partition should auto mount so then you can use links2sd to move the apps to that partition.I used "MiniTool Partition Wizard Home Edition" from [[** please register to see this link **]] to create two primary partitions in Windows 7, if you try this make sure you don't make changes to the wrong partition like the one your OS is on!
I'm unable to fully test this as it's my wife's tablet
I hope this helps.
I am tested this but link2sd ask error to trasnfert at the card any app

i have used link2sd on my 10b g3 using a class 10 sandisk 32gb card and it worked ok, but having to partition that card and move the apps is, in my opinion a waste of time, effort, and also a waste of a good card, using the internal 8gb for installs and the 32gb card for other stuff, sound much more like sense to me. anyone want to work on a rom that would allow this???

i can quite easily fill 1gb, i have a Htc sensation XE for my phone that has 1.1gb for apps, and use a lot of apps like kindle, teamviewer, kingsoft office, virgin tvguide, RCX for tivo remote, smartglass for my xbox, sketchbook mobile, photoshop express, skype, epson iprint, google drive, unified remote(for my media centre pc on my TV), also games like tigerwoods 2012,wheres my water, jetpack joyride, dead space, all the angry birds, bad piggies, amazing alex, brothers in arms 2, assassins creed, 9mm, plus other games and apps i have had to uninstall due to space, the good thing about the phone that then tablet lacks is native app to sd support, so a lot of the phone memory can be freed up, even with all my apps that can be moved on my phone i have still used 847mb, an thats only cos i removed some stuff. so as you can see my tablet has multi uses and would benifit from a bigger app storage, i probably would not fill 8gb (maybe 2gb to 2.5gb) but the choice would be nice.

Offlinelink2sd worked for me but I had errors until I figured out what I was doing wrong.
First, only use ext2 or fat32 for the second partition (you have to create a second partition on your SD card for link2sd to use). I used a 32Gb SD card and re-sized the first partition with Minitool Partition Wizard, then created a second 2GB ext2 partition for (I also tested with fat32). Both partitions must be primary.
I had problems with link2sd trying to use the "Move 2 SD" button with errors. There is a button below "Move 2 SD" that says "Link to SD" and "Unlink 2 SD". the "Link 2 SD" button will move the apps to your sd card.
"Move 2 SD" button tries to use internal methods of moving apps 2 sd which is lacking in this rom. If you select "Link 2 SD" button, then the program will use its own method of moving the app 2 SD and creating appropriate links. I tested and verified that it did indeed free up space in the internal memory. I also tested the Unlink button and it worked well. I even successfully moved apps that are not otherwise capable being moved to SD using typical means on my other tablets.
I am using the 1GB version of this rom.

I would like to try this on my 10b G3 but I'm confused. Has anyone tried this on the 10b G3 with success?

CORRECTION: the buttons are listed as LINK, UNLINK, then MOVE 2 SD
Select LINK and it will move the app to your sd card using its own methods vs "MOVE to SD" which uses the methods built into the ROM witch this ROM is lacking.

I found a solution for 10b G3 using an app External 2 Internal. I used the custom config and got it working pretty easily.

Eternal2Internal is on Google play and has a custom config section to enter your correct mountpoints. I also altered my vold.fstab so if I unmount and remount the SD CARD trhough the control panel it remounts the correct internal SD to /mnt/external_sd. It was remounting the external SD card with the default vold.fstab configuration.

It was remounting the external SD card with the default vold.fstab configuration.
I found a better solution :
I added these lines to /system/etc/install-recovery.sh
## swap internal/external sdcard
sleep 2
mount -o remount,rw /
mkdir -p /data/internal_sd
mount -o bind /mnt/sdcard /data/internal_sd
umount -f /mnt/sdcard
mount -t vfat -o umask=0000 /dev/block/mmcblk0p1 /mnt/sdcard
mount -o bind /data/internal_sd /mnt/external_sd
##
I also added a line in /system/etc/vold.fstab for the internal sdcard and commented one line out for the external sdcard. Looks like this:
##
# dev_mount sdcard /data/external_sd auto /devices/platform/rk29_sdmmc.0/mmc_host/mmc0
dev_mount udisk /mnt/usb_storage auto /devices/platform/?usb20_host/usb
dev_mount sdcard /mnt/external_sd auto /devices/virtual/mtd/mtd9
##
Rebooted an much joy. ![]()
