The firmware has been temporary removed due to reported problems with some newer Arnova 10b G3 models.
We should put it back as soon as tests show our latest update is stable and works on all Arnova 10b G3 versions.

Hi tottally new to all this. tried the firmware thing didnt work! easiest way i found to get apps on the tablet ,was to down load them to my pc as .apk files and manually install them real easy
OK...how do you download the app from Google Play to your PC? I cant see a way to do it?
you dont add google play at all! what you do is .. "google" for eg.. if you want kindle.. you "google" kindle .apk file.. down load it to your pc.. then put on memory stick or sd card.. then plug into your tablet.. and install!! worked a treat for me... this wayu you are not messing with firmware. hope it helps.... twiddle
Found this site looking for a solution to the missing Google Play, very informative and useful - thanks!
Used this method yesterday with few major problems so far, apart from the fact that Flash Player seems to have been knocked out or downgraded.
Streaming worked fine before the firmware update, but now they keep saying that my Flash Player is out of date. Have tried to update with Play but they report that support is no longer available.
Anyone else come across this issue? Any (easy) potential workarounds for me?
Thanks again for the update though, the kids were gutted when they couldnt get all the apps they wanted bhut now have captured my new tablet!
on your pc. go to http://www.google.com and search for "flashplayer" .apk find the latest .apk down load then transfer manually to tablet. hope this helps
Thanks for the replys guys, but the device decided to reboot itself today and Flash is now restored to its former glory. That means the kids now lose the tablet for a couple of weeks so I can stream the Tour de France at work
It has reset itself a couple of times now (back to original setup stage but retaining new firmware), anyone else found this?
Hi there , I am the proud owner of an Arnova 10b g3, and I have flashed it with the easy method to get google play working. It worked great , many thanks! I am trying to get mountmanager/cifsmanager to work , but this firmware doesn't seem to have cifs.ko. I was wondering if you could add it , or if you know where i might get a cifs.ko for it. I have a number of resources stored over network which I'd like to get to!
