Hello everybody,

I have recently acquired an Arnova 10b G3 which works pretty well so far, I'm just disappointed by the battery life.

Starting from a fully charged battery, I've watched like 2 movies (total around 3 hours) before the battery got empty. Is my device defective, what is your tablet battery life ?

Thanks for your help

No that sounds about right. You're not buying a top-end tablet here so there are trade-offs, and battery life is one of them. Playing games take even more resources so I've had less than three hours out of it while firing birds at pigs πŸ™‚

As this is a new machine, with all rechargeable batteries it will take a few full discharge and charge cycles before the best performance is seen. Always try to run battery down fully then recharge fully, performance should get a bit better.

it also depends on what are you using the tablet to do, if you watched 2 hd movies it is a ok lifetime for the battery.

This is actually not entirely true now - modern batteries do not like to be run all the way down and recharged fully each time.

It is correct though that it could take a few days on and off charge before the battery reaches it's full potential
