I've just tried connecting my 10b G3 to my main PC - running Win7 64bit SP1. It makes the normal 'bump' sound you get when plugging in a USB device, then showed the usual 'installing device drivers' popup, but then reported an error - Device Driver Software Was Not Successfully Installed.
It did this in both MTP and Mass Storage modes. After failing to install the drivers it shows up in Device Manager as an 'Unknown Device'
Connecting to my work laptop running WinXP Pro works fine - it shows up in Explorer as a media device and I can browse the contents. Same is true for my wife's Win7 64bit SP1 laptop.
This is going to be an issue as tomorrow is my last day in my current job so I will be losing the laptop!
Any advice anyone can share with me?
I have experienced some issues with MTP on my Arnova 10b G3 as well, most of the time it works on my PC (Win7, 64bits) but the tablet device sometimes isn't visible in the Windows list of drives. Also I noticed that MTP storage doesn't work when USB debugging (from Settings / Developer) option is checked.
I'll post again when I have a better understanding of the problem and if I can find any fixes.
