OK that wont work I have tried. The only way to remove an account is to do a full factory reset. This also deletes apps installed. If you go into accounts and sync settings and try to remove an account, you get an error that to do that you have to do a factory reset.
I would hook up with whoever your setting it uip for and setup a Google account for them.

Thanks, I guess I'll spend some time looking at my options. Setting up an account for the kid would violate Google's terms as they are not yet 13.
The tablet is about 80% good as it is, but of course the kid would like YouTube and access to more games than the AppsLib has available.
Neither option is really a deal breaker - root and deal with another Google account, or keep as is and deal with limited app availability. For all I know the kid won't use it that much and will be perfectly happy with it as a portable web browser, movie player and playing the limited games.

I tried it and it works great! Now I'm trying to figure out how to download the Market! Thanks a billion!!!

I just installed the ROM and the walk-thru was great. It took less than 3 seconds to get in recovery mode on the tablet though. I have not found any bugs with this ROM, but I did have a few bugs in the unrooted setup, which is funny. I appreciate the hard work you put into this to get it going, as the only reason we bought this was for my daughter to watch Netflix and my wife to make some notes, and now they can do that!
Also, a few requests.
Can you please add the Google Apps to the ROM? (I am missing the Google Calendar feature, which is as simple as adding the GoogleCalendarSyncAdapter.apk to the /system/apps with 777 permissions, and adding the Calendar.apk for install. Seems simple enough.)
Can we have a DARK gray wallpaper?
Can you move the home, back, and menu buttons to a dock on the bottom of the screen based on orientation?
What about building overclocking abilities into the ROM?
Thanks,
Sno

I will probably never add the Market to my ROM. I believe giving someone a blank system to customize as they see fit is the best way. All these things your asking for can be installed easily. Check the 10 G2 forum as they are all covered. EXCEPT for moving the buttons / Dock. That requires kernal changes and I am not doing anything with that as I am just not a kernal developer. There are work arounds though again descibed in the 10 G2 forum including getting rid of the status bar all together and using button savior.

This rom has been working good. But, I'm having problems with the wifi. On power up most of the time I get an error message. And, it also does not recieve data good some times. Even if I got three bars. Is there anyway to boost the wifi power? (does anyone else have these problems are is it just me?)
Thanks
