The kitchen update for the 10bG2 ready, I let you check it.
Please choose the Arnova10bG2 in the firmware list and choose one bootimage one with 1024x600 resolution (the last two items in the list).
This firmware cooking won't do much except changing the boot image, but confirming this works will help in making further firmware modifications (root, market...) work on the 10bG2.

That's great.
Did a add a custom logo, does it work ? do you get Superuser app (for root) and Android Market, do they work ?
Finally how did you flash both firmware, you just copied the update.img on the tablet ?

Yes, applied a custom logo, working fine 😉
No, SU or Market 🙁
Just copied image to tablet and let it install, that works fine, no errors...

I've fixed the kitchen, it will reopen soon.
In the meantime, I'd need some feedback on my test firmware for Arnova 10bG2 capacitive with Android Market and (partial) root, if someone want to try it and let me know.

Installed You're firmware yesterday on my An10BG2.
And he runs very smooth, no problems with root and market ...
installed the update through the normal method.
I also did get a Calibration Force Close on first boot but I didn't get a problem because off that so.

I am new and officially dumb. I recently purchased my 10b g2 and followed some instructions on rooting and installing the market place. The market place didn't work and my tablet seems slower. I'm about to do a full reset of the tablet and start all over. I'm hoping someone could give me a step by step tutorial on how to root it (if necessary) and get the market place (google play) to work on my device. It's pissing me off because two friends that I work with purchased the same device and are now asking me how to questions. Any help is appreciated.

Well I had market installed on my device but I couldn't update it to google play store and also Root didn't work and my device was getting slower and slower.
But I installed the kasty-ez_arn10bg2-23-10 firmware by just copying the file to my device (also back-up you're apps that you like).
When you plug out you're device the sd will be reconized and scanned for new music ... and will find the update file.
Install it and you will have a full rooted device with android market.
So I think it's going to be easyier to install the firmware than trying to gett you're device rooted.

I get a loading firmware failed in rockchip batch program when I tried to load kasty-ez_arn10bg2-23-10 on my 10b g2 dual touch model.
Any way to fix, I know have a tablet with a wrong rom.

Hi all,
This topic starts with a dump of original firmware for Arnova 10b G2 with a resistive screen. Is there a link or a place to download it ? I can't find a valid firmware for my tablet 
! Firmwares for capacitive screen starts but as expected the touch screen doesn't work.

I can't find any firmware, official or as a dump for the Arnova 10b G2 resistive.
Arnova has recently started to make their default firmware available, hopefully this will happen soon for the 10b G2 resistive.
Any dump from a user is also welcome, I'll help to extract the firmware if needed.
