Unpack refers to unzip the file, to get the update.img file out of the zip archive.

If you have downloaded the file onto your tablet than you will need to install a file manager through Apps lib program on your tablet. Search for File Expert and install it than when you open the program you will need to navigate to the firmware that you downloaded earlier and click on the file to extract it. Than make sure that that file is moved out of whatever folder it was downloaded into and placed on the device.

Alternate you can download the firmware to you PC. Unpack it by clicking on the file, if you are using Windows 7 than the file will unpack automatic. If not you will need to download a program that can unpack the file. A good free one is Peazip.

Than plug you tablet into your PC with the cable you got in the box. You tablet will display turn on usb storage, click it to switch on. Than you should get the device pop up with a list of folders on it.

Copy the file you have unpacked (this will be named image) to your tablet. Do not put it into a folder just copy it to the area where the folders are.

Now click turn off usb storage on your tablet, safely remove hardware from your computer and the update will start, just make sure your tablet has a good charge if not put it on charge before you start. Leave it to do its stuff and when it has it will reboot.

Use that program File Expert.

When it starts up you will see my files, click that and you will see internal storage.

Search the folders in there usually dcim I think if not search for.jpg to find them

Than just multi select your photos and select copy. Go back to my files and select sd card, than just copy them to what ever folder you want

find the files, and press button on the top right of the Android task bar, and a menu will pop up, click batch, than select all, than click copy from the icons on the bottom.

Now go back and to my files/sd card and than click on paste icon on the bottom

lf you want to create a folder on your sd card than

You can by holding a blank area of the screen when

In the sd card directory for about 3 seconds. A pop up

Will appear create new folder

ps If the files wont copy you will have to mount the sd card by going into menu/new-m6-firmware-rockchip-sdk-2-0-based/mount/rw when in the programSmile
