Depending on what browser you use, you can have settings for blocking images totally or having flash on demand. I suggest that you try to install a different browser to the one that you are having trouble with.
Try downloading Dolphin Hd or Opera from Appslib or Android market to see if your problem is still exists and check in the settings for the above mentioned. Images are always on but you may find that flash will have to be enabled for the web pages to load them immediately otherwise simple click the empty space on the site, usually indicated with an arrow where the flash content is.
If all else fails go onto the Arnova website and install the latest firmware that is one there as there has been an update to the firmware that will be on your tablet.
