Hi all,

Owner of a 10 G2 here, looking for some helpful advice.

Whenever I go to a https site I keep getting hit with Security Certificate errors if I just click okay eventually they go away but i suspect there may be something more sinister going on.

10G2 is totally stock and has had nothing put on it yet.

Could it be the inbuilt browser causing the problem? I could really do with some peace of mind on this problem, as I believe it may be simpler than I think it is. [But just cannot figure it out].

I have seen many many people with similar problem but no concrete answers, is it something within the settings that needs to be setup up.

I have a feeling that if I try the soft version of google market I am bound to get hit by the same problems again, so would like to try and sort them out first.

really appreciate any guidance chaps....

But isn't there a reason for the security warning to be there? ---- just curious.   Would using a different browser possible cure the problem?

Appreciate all replies chaps

So by using the built in browser that could be the problem, does anyone think that something like dolphin (not to sure if that's what it's called) would cure the problem or is there a more secure browser available.

(allow for noobness) How would one go about updating the certificates?

p.s.

cannot believe how many antivirus programs have been released recently for android devices...... either someone is cashing in, or there is a major threat on the horizon.
